1917 is a new kind of music consultancy. Founded at the end of 2006 by Mark Hobrough and Martin Tibbetts, it is a multi faceted company focused on developing artists both new and established in innovative and effective ways. 1917 are the only company in the UK to offer a service directly to the large number of specialist Music Colleges in the country. More recently the company has expanded and now also work with Film and various Arts courses providing current and exciting competitions and information for students.
The partners in 1917 are Mark Hobrough and Martin Tibbetts. They first met backstage at an Ian McNabb gig in New Cross, where they bonded over a love of original punk and Echo and the Bunnymen. Being one of Ian's legendary and lengthy solo shows they had plenty of time to do it! They have worked together on and off since then and are both vastly experienced in many facets of the music industry.
